Is the mount secure over speed bumps and potholes?

Yes, the mount stays firmly in place—even at high speeds and on stiff suspension. It’s designed to handle bumps, jolts, and rough roads without coming loose.

What radar detectors is this mount compatible with?

This mount is compatible with the Uniden R4, R7, and R8, using the pivoting clip from the original large Uniden suction cup. Note: the R4 clip is not interchangeable with the R7/R8 due to the power port being on a different side.

Does the mount allow for angle adjustment

Yes, the angle is adjustable for optimal placement and visibility. If used across multiple cars, slight adjustments may be needed due to different windscreen angles—though a "happy medium" often works well for all.
